What is MOPPETS?

MOPPETS is not just childcare but interactions through singing, dancing, playing, and age appropriate activities/videos.   You can rest assured that your children will not only be safe, but they will be having lots of fun making friends while you are doing the same!

So sit back, relax & enjoy!

MOPPETS Procedures

Sign in your child at the door and make any notes needed for you child on the sign-in sheet.

  • Bring and pick up your child at the door.
  • Pick up your child immediately at the close of each session unless the teacher is notified beforehand.  Some children become anxious if s/he is left after other children have gone.
  • All blankets, diaper bags, coats, etc. must be clearly labeled.  Many bottles look alike.
  • Bottles brought will be given according to mom's instructions.  Please mark all bottles and bring only plastic bottles.
  • Provide disposable diapers when your children are at MOPS.  If this is impossible for your child, please contact the MOPPETS Coordinator, Debra Clay.  Bring enough diapers and a change of clothes.
  • Moms, please refrain from checking on your child during our meeting.  It is upsetting if they see you; we will contact you if you are needed.

Sick Policy -  In order to create a safe environement for each child, we ask that you not bring your child to a MOPS program if any of the following conditions exist: head lice, pink eye, vomiting, undiagnosed rash, open skin lesions, severe coughing, any symptoms of infectious disease, 2 cases of diarrhea within 30 minutes to 1 hour, a temperature of 100.4 or higher within the past 24 hours.  All medication will be given by the parent of the child.

We ask that you provide a snack and drink clearly marked for your child to enjoy during MOPS.  If you forget, one will be provided for your child.
